How to Take/Reload SRAM BACK UP from Fanuc 0i-T touch control panel

Before doing the activity below, it is crucial that you first put the machine into Emergency state to ensure the safety and security of both the equipment and personnel involved. This step is not just a precaution; it is a necessary protocol designed to prevent any unforeseen accidents or malfunctions that could lead to serious consequences. Taking this measure allows for a controlled environment, minimizing risks and ensuring that all subsequent actions can be performed with maximum safety.

In case if Main Menu screen does not appear and you have MDI Keys then

Turn on the Power while pressing 6 & 7 Numerical keys on MDI Keyboard .

Main Menu will be appeared which is called System Monitor Main Menu.

You can move UP/DOWN By scrolling Page Up/Down button or By selecting Numerical key 5 for UP and Numerical Key 6 for Down.

You have to go Menu 7 .SRAM DATA UTILITY and Select by Pressing Numeric key 2 and you will be reached on page

Operating Procedure(Backing Up Data)

1.Select” 1.SRAM BACKUP. The following confirmation message is displayed

STORE TO MEMORY CARD .You have to select YES softkey.

2:Upon the termination of Back up, the system displays the following message. Press the [Select] soft key.

Data will be selected after completing the process, and “SRAM BACK UP COMPLETE ” will be displayed on the screen. Then you have to move to END and then select, and you will move to the main menu. After that, you have to select END, and you will exit from this screen and move to the main screen.

Operating Procedure (Restoring the Data )

1.Select 2.RESTORE SRAM. The following confirmation message will be displayed. To start restoration you have to press [YES] soft key.

2.A message such as that shown below is displayed. Insert the first Memory card containing SRAMBACK.001 and press the [YES] soft
key. Press the [NO] key to cancel restoration.

*** MESSAGE ***
SET MEMORY CARD INCLUDING SRAM_BAK.001
ARE YOU SURE ? HIT YES OR NO.
[SELECT][ YES ][ NO ][ UP ][ DOWN ]

3:Upon the termination of restoration, the system displays the following message. Press the [SELECT] soft key.

*** MESSAGE ***
SRAM RESTORE COMPLETE. HIT SELECT KEY.
[SELECT][ YES ][ NO ][ UP ][ DOWN ]
